Our first introduction to artist Michael Walsh was the above-pictured sculpture We Did Nothing, one of our favourite pieces in the 2012 Biennial put on by the Bermuda National Gallery. Walsh, a lecturer at the Bermuda College, focuses on large-scale installations many of which are rendered in cardboard, wood or other natural materials and interact with, or on which the environment in which they are placed.
